Smart Surgicals’ aim is to develop, manufacture and market a unique Robotic Surgical System aimed at Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), specifically laparoscopic surgery. MIS has and continues to change the way surgery is performed, however every surgeon who does laparoscopic procedures knows the limitation and frustrations associated with the existing non-robotic laparoscopic techniques.
