Femipap

Femipap develops, manufactures and markets novel medical devices for female health care.  Its first product is the Femipap device, which is a cervix self-sampling device for cervical cancer screening.  Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death from cancer and yet, for various reasons, many women do not get regular pap smears to test for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).  Certain types of HPV are the primary cause of cervical cancer. The purpose of the Femipap device is for a woman to acquire cervical cells through a self-sampling process, where after an accredited laboratory will screen for cervical cancer using accepted techniques.
