Elective Lifestyle provides short-term insurance to cover complications and/or unexpected outcomes associated with elective cosmetic surgical procedures (ECSP). Cosmetic surgery is rapidly growing in acceptance and uptake the world over, yet these elective procedures are not covered by medical insurers, and even certain procedures which might be considered as rectifying a medical condition (e.g. breast reduction) are not recognised or subsidised by most medical insurers. By extension, any complications that arise out of a cosmetic surgical procedure will not be covered by the medical insurer.  Elective Lifestyle’s insurance product fills this gap in the market.
