African Biological Extracts’ core capability is in extraction technologies, specifically its application in deriving high-value compounds from biological sources.  South Africa is a country rich in plant diversity and there exist many opportunities to extract, isolate, and purify compounds that can be used in the cosmetics, pharma/nutraceutical, and food and beverage industries. The company’s first product is a powerful biologically active anti-oxidant that is obtained from olives.
