Sunbio
Sunbio was born out of the University of Stellenbosch’s Institute for Wine Biotechnology, this company develops second and third generation yeast strains, which offer enhanced and more specific functionality than first generation strains. The yeast can be used in winemaking, and also has applications in the food and nutraceutical industries.
